  Tan Sri Datuk Amar Haji Mohamad Morshidi bin Abdul Ghani

Tan Sri Datuk Amar Haji Mohamad Morshidi bin Abdul Ghani, received his Bachelor in Economics from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia before subsequently earning a Master of Science in Human Resource Administration from the University of Scranton, Pennsylvania, USA.

After a decade long stint with PETRONAS, Tan Sri entered the State Civil Service in 1998 as the Director of Human Resource Management in the Sarawak Chief Minister’s Department and served in various senior level capacities throughout a distinguished civil service career. Tan Sri was the Sarawak State Secretary from 2009 up to August 2019 and currently plays an active role as a member of the Boards in several Sarawak State agencies and statutory bodies.

  Datu Laura Lee Ngien Hion


Datu Laura Lee Ngien Hion graduated with a 1st Class Honours Bachelor of Technology - Chemistry in 1982 from the University of Bradford, United Kingdom, before obtaining her Master in Business Administration in 1983 from the same university.

Commencing her career journey as an Economic and Planning Engineer for Sarawak Shell Berhad, she joined the Sarawak State Civil Service and has served over 22 years in various senior level capacities inclusive of leading the Sarawak Economic Development Corporation as the Corporation’s General Manager and acting as the Sarawak State’s Deputy Financial Secretary from 2009 to 2018.


  Dato Christopher anak Adrian

An engineer by profession, Dato Christopher anak Adrian, received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Iowa and later obtained his Masters of the same discipline in 1991 from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Boston, USA.

He served in Jabatan Kerja Raya HQ Sarawak from 1985 to 1996 before founding his own private design consulting firm, Jurutera TCS Sdn Bhd in 1996. In 2004 until 2013, he was appointed and served as a Councillor to the Sibu Municipal Council.

He is a member of the Institute of Engineers, Malaysia, and the Association of Consulting Engineers, Malaysia.


  Datu Hj Abang Halmi bin Ikhwan

Datu Haji Abang Halmi Bin Ikhwan holds an Honours Degree in Economics (Accounting) from University of Malaya and Master of Business Administration (Major in International Business Management) from Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium.

He is currently the President of Dewan Usahawan Bumiputra Sarawak and was appointed to the National Economic Action Council in March, 2020. He is also a member of board for Baitulmal Sarawak and board committee for Bumiputera Participation, Sarawak Energy Berhad. His notable past appointments include board member for Malaysian Palm Oil Berhad and Majlis Kemahiran Pembangunan Malaysia.

He began his career in 1972 with Bank Negara Malaysia and then served with Sarawak Economic Development Corporation. In 1979, he joined Bintulu Development Authority and was promoted as the General Manager in 1983.  He later assumed the position of Permanent Secretary to Ministry of Resource Planning, Sarawak from 1992 until 1996 and Permanent Secretary to Ministry of Rural and Land Development from 1996 to 2002.


  Peter Chin Mui Khiong

Mr. Peter Chin Mui Khiong is a Fellow of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.

He started his career with Hanafiah, Raslan and Mohamad, Kuching and has more than 35 years of professional experience in the areas of audit and business advisory services. He was a Partner of Ernst & Young from 1997 until his retirement in June 2015 and has served as the partner-in-charge of a number of companies listed on Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, as well as private and quasi-government corporations, which include industries such as manufacturing, plantation, banking, construction, transportation, hotel, hospital, education, stockbroking, unit trust and government agencies.

Mr. Peter Chin currently sits on the boards of several prominent public listed companies namely Landmarks Berhad, Hubline Berhad and Supreme Consolidated Resources Berhad.

  Sim Kheng Boon


Prior to joining DBOS, Mr. Sim Kheng Boon was the Senior Director / Head of East Malaysia for Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad, a position he held from September 2012 to 2015.

He also served for 29 years in AmInvestment Bank Berhad where, during his tenure as the Director of the Sarawak Region, he was responsible for the entire investment banking operations in the region including corporate advisory, debt capital market, corporate and institutional banking, broking and private banking.

He has been instrumental in providing various corporate advisory services for Sarawak-based companies which include initial public listing, fund raising in capital and debt markets, loan syndication, project and corporate debt structuring and financial advisory on mergers and acquisitions. As a reflection of his vast investment banking experience, he has been involved in over 50% of the IPOs of Sarawak-based companies.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) degree, majoring in Accounting and Economics from University of Windsor, Canada.
